Camel Bone carving came into the existence due to restrictions on Ivory carving. Camel Bone is acquired from govt. departments and no living animal is hurt during the procedure of making Camel Bone Handicrafts. The Bones are cleaned with Hydroxyl to remove all its impurities and then it is soaked in Marble Powder overnight to remove residual impurities. The whole process is repeated to achieve the desired white colour. Then it is finally polished.
